Portal Terms of Use

This is an English translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Turkish text prevails.
1. Parties, Subject and Scope
1.1. These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are concluded between [Operator Name], which operates the [Portal Name] website ("Portal Management"), and the person who becomes a member of the Portal (the "User"), upon the User's electronic acceptance of the Terms on the registration form.
1.2. The subject of the Terms is to set out the conditions of use of the games, competitions, blogs, film and series recommendations and all services to be added in the future on the Portal, and the rights and obligations of the parties.
1.3. The Terms apply to all pages, language versions and services of the Portal. The game rules published on the Portal, the Privacy and Personal Data Protection Notice and other rules published by Portal Management form an integral part of the Terms.
2. Definitions
- Portal: The website published at [Portal Name] domain, including all its sub-pages, language versions and services
- Portal Management: [Operator Name], operator of the Portal, and persons exercising management authority on its behalf (admins)
- User: A natural person who becomes a member of the Portal by accepting the Terms
- Account: The membership record protected by e-mail and password that the User uses to access the Portal
- Nick Name: The nickname chosen by the User and shown to other users
- Content: Any text, image, game, rule text, recommendation, software and data on the Portal
- Game: Card games, okey, backgammon, chess and similar games offered on the Portal
- Computer Table: A game session in which a User plays only against computer players
- Live Table: A game session in which at least two Users take part together
- Points: The value earned in games and competitions and used solely as an indicator of achievement within the Portal
- Automated Tool: Bots, scripts, browser extensions, macros, scrapers and any software interacting with the Portal without human intervention
3. Membership and Account
3.1. Persons who are at least 18 years old and have legal capacity may become members of the Portal.
3.2. The User accepts that the name, surname, e-mail and phone information provided during registration is accurate, up to date and belongs to the User. Accounts opened with someone else's identity or false information may be closed by Portal Management without notice.
3.3. Each natural person may open only one account. If multiple accounts belonging to the same person are detected, all of them may be suspended or deleted.
3.4. The account is personal; it may not be sold, transferred, rented or made available to others.
3.5. The User is responsible for keeping the password confidential. Every action performed through the account is deemed to have been performed by the User. The User shall immediately notify Portal Management upon noticing unauthorized use of the account.
3.6. A Nick Name may not contain profanity, insults, or political, religious or ethnic discrimination; may not imitate another person, institution or Portal Management; and may not carry official-sounding expressions such as "admin", "moderator" or "system". Nick Names violating these rules may be changed by Portal Management or the account may be suspended.
4. Rules of Conduct
4.1. On the Portal, any interaction containing profanity, insults, humiliation, threats or discrimination based on political, religious, ethnic, gender, disability or any other characteristic, even to the smallest degree, is strictly prohibited. This prohibition applies to Nick Names, messages, profile information and all other areas of the Portal.
4.2. The User also may not:
- Harass, disturb, persistently follow other users or deliberately spoil their games
- Imitate another person, institution or Portal Management
- Share personal information such as phone numbers, addresses or e-mail addresses of themselves or others
- Send advertising, promotion, spam or chain messages; redirect others to other sites
- Share obscene, violent, crime-inciting or unlawful content
- Use the Portal for a purpose contrary to the laws of the Republic of Türkiye or of the country where the User is located
4.3. In case of violation of these rules, Portal Management may exercise its rights under Article 10.
5. Rights of Other Users
5.1. Every User has the right to use the Portal in a respectful and safe environment. The User agrees to respect this right of other users.
5.2. The User may mute, block or report a user they find disturbing to Portal Management. A blocked user and the user who blocked them are not placed at the same Live Table.
5.3. Messaging at Live Tables may be limited to predefined messages and expressions determined by Portal Management. Messages are not stored; therefore, when facing inappropriate behaviour, the User shall primarily use the mute and block tools.
5.4. Portal Management reviews reports but is not obliged to take action on every report or to inform the reporter of the outcome.
5.5. In disputes arising from interactions between users, the parties are responsible among themselves; Portal Management is not a party to such disputes.
6. Security, Automated Tools and Misuse
6.1. The following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Attempting unauthorized access to the Portal's servers, database, software or other users' accounts
- Searching for, testing or exploiting security vulnerabilities; attempting to bypass security measures
- Sending intensive requests that prevent, slow down or disrupt the operation of the Portal (including denial-of-service attacks)
- Copying, reverse engineering or modifying the Portal's software
- Accessing the Portal, opening accounts, playing games, collecting data or sending messages with Automated Tools
- Using cheat software, game engines or outside assistance in games; earning unfair Points by exploiting bugs and loopholes
- Using multiple accounts or playing pre-arranged games with other users in order to gain Points or rankings
6.2. To protect genuine users, Portal Management may apply verification tests (CAPTCHA), request limits, suspicious behaviour detection and similar technical measures. The User accepts that these measures may temporarily restrict some functions of the Portal.
6.3. In order to ensure security and fulfil its obligations under applicable legislation, in particular Law No. 5651, Portal Management keeps access logs (IP address, date, time, action information) for the period required by law.
6.4. When actions violating this article are detected, the related accounts and access sources are blocked without notice. Actions that may constitute a crime (including those under the cybercrime provisions of the Turkish Penal Code) are reported to the competent authorities, and the necessary records are shared with judicial authorities.
6.5. A User who notices a security vulnerability on the Portal shall report it to [security e-mail address] without exploiting it or sharing it with anyone. Reports made in good faith and in accordance with this rule are not considered a violation of Article 6.1.
7. Games, Points and Achievements
7.1. The games on the Portal are offered solely for entertainment and skill development. No games are played for real money, valuables or any material consideration, and no betting or gambling takes place on the Portal. Using the Portal or Points for such purposes, or organizing for such purposes outside the Portal, is strictly prohibited.
7.2. Points, achievements and rankings have no material value; they cannot be converted into money, sold or transferred and do not give rise to any right.
7.3. Portal Management has the right to correct, delete or reset Points, rankings and game results resulting from errors, cheating, irregular play or technical problems. Scoring methods, game rules and difficulty levels may be changed without prior notice.
7.4. No Points are recorded for games played with undo enabled, games not completed, games abandoned, or games ended due to inactivity.
7.5. Portal Management is not responsible for a game being interrupted or Points being lost due to connection loss, server outage or other technical reasons.
7.6. The detailed rules of each game are published on the relevant game screen. By starting a game, the User is deemed to have accepted the rules of that game.
8. Content and Third-Party Links
8.1. Blogs, film and series recommendations and other informative content on the Portal are for general information and opinion only. Such content does not replace professional legal, medical, financial, psychological or other advice. The User is responsible for decisions made based on the content.
8.2. Portal Management takes reasonable care for the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of the content but does not guarantee them.
8.3. The Portal may contain links to third-party sites. The content, security and privacy practices of these sites are not under the control of Portal Management; Portal Management is not responsible for the consequences of using these sites.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1. All intellectual and industrial property rights on the design, software, games, game engines, logos, texts and all other Content of the Portal belong to Portal Management or its licensors.
9.2. The User is granted only the right to use the Portal for personal and non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, published or used for commercial purposes without the written permission of Portal Management.
9.3. Suggestions, feedback and similar contributions sent by the User to the Portal may be used by Portal Management without any payment to the User.
10. Rights of Portal Management
10.1. Portal Management may suspend, restrict or delete any User account, or reopen a suspended account, without giving any reason and without obtaining the User's consent.
10.2. Points, achievements and other data of a suspended or deleted account may be deleted; the User may not claim any right or compensation for this reason.
10.3. Portal Management may change, temporarily or permanently stop, or remove all or part of the Portal, any service, game or content without prior notice.
10.4. Portal Management may temporarily restrict access to the Portal for maintenance, updates or security reasons.
10.5. Portal Management may remove, without notice, any content, Nick Name or interaction it considers to be contrary to law or to these Terms.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1. The Portal and all services are provided "as is" and "as available". Portal Management does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, virus-free or fit for a particular purpose.
11.2. Portal Management is not responsible for access interruptions, loss of data and Points, interactions between users, actions of third parties, problems with the User's device or internet connection, or indirect damages that may arise from the use of the Portal.
11.3. As long as the Portal is offered free of charge, in cases where Portal Management's liability arises for any reason, such liability is limited to the lowest level permitted by law.
11.4. The limitations in this article do not apply to damages arising from the intent or gross negligence of Portal Management or to liabilities that cannot be limited under mandatory provisions of law.
12. User's Liability and Indemnification
12.1. The User is personally legally and criminally responsible for all actions and posts on the Portal.
12.2. All claims, lawsuits, administrative fines and related litigation costs and attorney fees directed at Portal Management or third parties due to the User's conduct contrary to these Terms or the law shall be borne by the User. Payments made by Portal Management for this reason shall be recourse to the User.
12.3. The obligation of a User who damages the Portal or disrupts or attempts to disrupt its operation to compensate all damages arising from such actions is reserved.
13. Personal Data and Records
13.1. The User's personal data are processed in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data and within the scope of the Privacy and Personal Data Protection Notice published on the Portal. The User accepts having read this notice before becoming a member.
13.2. The User's e-mail and phone information are not shown to other users. Other users see only the Nick Name.
13.3. Messages at Live Tables are not stored permanently. Game records, Points and access logs are kept for as long as necessary for the operation and security of the Portal and for legal obligations.
13.4. Portal Management shares personal data with third parties only when legally required or upon request of competent public institutions and organizations.
14. Account Closure and Termination
14.1. The User may close their account at any time. The Terms end upon account closure; Points and achievements cannot be restored.
14.2. The rights of Portal Management under Article 10 are reserved.
14.3. Termination of the Terms does not affect the rights and obligations that arose before the termination date, in particular Articles 11, 12 and 16.
15. Amendments to the Terms
15.1. Portal Management may change these Terms and all rules on the Portal (including game rules) at any time without prior notice. The current text enters into force as soon as it is published on the Portal.
15.2. Portal Management may announce important changes on the Portal or by e-mail; however, the absence of an announcement does not affect the validity of a change. Continued use of the Portal after a change means acceptance of the new text. A User who does not accept may close their account.
15.3. It is the User's responsibility to follow the current version of the Terms and Portal rules regularly.
15.4. The User cannot escape liability by claiming not to know or not to have read these Terms or the Portal rules, or not to have been aware of changes. At every moment the Portal is used, the rules in force at that moment apply.
16. Evidence Agreement, Governing Law and Jurisdiction
16.1. The parties accept that, in disputes that may arise from these Terms, the database, server and access records of Portal Management constitute conclusive evidence pursuant to Article 193 of the Code of Civil Procedure No. 6100.
16.2. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
16.3. The courts and enforcement offices of [Ankara] have jurisdiction over disputes. Where the User qualifies as a consumer, the right to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts under Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 is reserved.
17. Contact, Entry into Force and Electronic Acceptance
17.1. Contact details of Portal Management: [Operator Name], [Address], [Contact e-mail address].
17.2. Notifications sent to the e-mail address provided by the User during registration are deemed to have reached the User at the time they are sent.
17.3. These Terms consist of 17 articles. By ticking the "I have read and accept the Terms of Use" box on the registration form, the User declares having read, understood and accepted the Terms in full. The Terms enter into force with this acceptance.
